As a small foretaste of your hiking holiday on the Alpe di Siusi, here are some tours that you are sure to enjoy: A leisurely walk to get to know the village of Castelrotto to the Kofel (30 minutes). From Castelrotto, an easy trail leads to Tagusens (2.30 hours), where you may discover our neighbouring villages. Another easy trail takes you up to the Marinzenalm (1 hour), or you may choose the more challenging history trail to Tires am Rosengarten (3.25 hours). But there is also the tour to the Witches’ Benches on Mount Bullaccia (4 hours) or the demanding hut tour to the Tschafonhütte and the Tierser Alpl (10 hours). Themed trails such as the Geologist’s Trail, the Oswald von Wolkenstein Trail or the Barefoot Trail “Witches’ Springs” offer plenty of interesting facts about the region, its people, and their history in addition to experiencing nature. Are you looking for peak experiences in the Dolomites? Then a vigorous mountain tour to the Sasso Piatto (3 hours / 937 m elevation difference) or to the Schneid (6.35 hours / 955 m elevation difference) is your perfect choice.
